Entering Parts Data

Pressing ENTER will move the cursor from one field to the next.
Parts Data Entry Fields

Customer's initials are very useful when the same material is being cut for multiple customers. If initials are specified, it is easy to tell which cut part belongs to which customer, during optimization and when printing cut list and sorting parts after cutting.
BW - Band Width edges. A value of 2 means that both width edges of the part are to be banded . A value of 1 means that one width edge of the part is to be banded. A value of 0 means "no edge banding".
BL - Band Length edges. A value of 2 means that both length edges of the part are to be banded. A value of 1 means that length edge of the part is to be banded. A value of 0 means "no edge banding".
The data you entered will appear ih the parts list:

It is possible to modify data once it has been entered into the parts list. Just click the cell you want to change and enter a new value.
Clicking on the delete icon will delete all parts from the list.

Rotation setting is very important for parts that must have a specific orientation of the grain.
    Default value is for every part in the list. Click this icon to change the rotation parameter.
  • - part can not be rotated during calculation.
  • - part can be rotated for better fit during calculation, if necessary.
Use the icon on the left to change rotation parameter for all parts in the list.
