Calculation — Alpha Values

Alpha parameter sets calculation complexity. By default, it is set to 0.001. The maximum value is 1. Usually, values ranging from 0.001 to 0.050 will produce the best results. Take a look and see how changing alpha parameter affects calculation results:

Alpha=0.001

With this setting, only four parts from the part list could be optimally put to the panel. Modifying alpha will provide for more complex calculation, enabling the program to put more elements on the same panel in the optimal way:

Alpha=0.002

Alpha=0.002

Alpha=0.004

Alpha=0.004

Alpha=0.006

Alpha=0.006
